I’ve been reading all the initial feedback from Machine Gun Train Run – some good, some bad, but definitely enough to see common themes on what people would like improved. So far one of the biggest issues is that the game is a bit sterile due to only having one weapon. To fix that, I added weapons! Each character now has 3 unique ammo types that drop throughout all game modes. The update is live now and the response has been really good so far.
Now I’m working on touching up the train and cargo box sprites in Level 2 to give it a more polished look. Stay tuned.

…and people are NOT super happy about how much the graphics look like a Flash game.
I’m going to spend the next month making the art look at bit more classy, something akin to Castle Crashers. Which was actually animated in Flash and still looks stellar. So, uh, BRB.
Machine Gun Train Run is currently sitting on Steam Greenlight and getting close to breaking into the top 100. If you like HARDCORE 2D SHOOTERS like Contra and Gunstar Heroes then this will be right up your alleyhole. Check it out here:

Welcome to my new website! There’s absolutely nothing on it right now but I’m going to give it all sorts of fancy updates this weekend.
In the meantime, check out the short trailer for Machine Gun Train Run below. It’s a finalist in the 2015 Indie Games Competition at the Strasbourg European Fantastic Film Festival! I’m pretty pumped about it.
